Our coaching staff is the cornerstone of the club. Every coach on staff is committed to the success of our club, the teams they lead, and every player under their development. This year’s coaching staff is the best collection of high-quality coaches in Port St. Lucie. Our staff is more than coaches – they are teachers of the game and strive to develop each player to their highest potential.
Over 30 years of coaching experience, from Puerto Rico, Massachussetts, New York, and Florida.
CAP experience, FHSAA Official, former USAV Official, World Volleyball Training Center visiting coach.

Coaching with Upontop since 2018. Played Volleyball throughout his youth. Former Cuban boxer and was a member of the Cuban Junior boxing team 1993-1997, pan American champion and 3 time national champion. Obtained a sports degree at the University of Santiago De Cuba. My name is Angelica Castaneda, I’m 19 years old and I’m from Port St. Lucie, Florida.
I am currently studying towards receiving my BSN through Indian river state college, but my ultimate goal is to become a physician assistant.
•Volleyball experience
-Played Morningside Academy volleyball from 5th-12th grade
-Club volleyball for Up on Top both my 9th and 10th grade year and for JM#10 my 11th and 12th grade year.
-I played all around, but for most of my career I was a libero.
-Currently the Assistant coach for Morningside Academy varsity team
